Hey...Thx for the heads-up. I was hoping for a twofer (2GB per stick), as I was told it would be faster than four 1s. However, it looks like if I want to speed things up and have more memory, four 1's is my fate. Thanks again...

According to this the max size module it takes is 1GB http://www.premiumgeeks.com/desktop/hp/hp-pavilion-medi... which is the largest module I get if I go in here http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=Media...
You would need 4 x 1GB to reach 4GB.
