Mobo not detecting hard drives?!

my MSI big bang xpower is not detecting the 2 hard drives i have on the bios but windows works fine.. im trying to clone from HD to HD with clonezilla, both are plug in on the correct SATA plug in but bios wont detect the hard drives? any clues bios update something i need to do?

If they're attached to the SATA3 ports then use the SATA2 ports to clone if clonezilla is failing to recognize. Also, if unformatted many cloning Apps require the HDD/SSD to be formatted prior to cloning. The SATA3 ports don't show-up in the BIOS like SATA2; if on the SATA3 {Marvell} boot to the Marvell setup to see if listed --> Ctrl + M.
