Tough Media Computer

I'm wanting to build a media computer to connect to my 40" Samsung HDTV. Since I'm purchasing a whole new system though, I figure I might as well deck it out to run games pretty graphically intense (and even on my 1080p). I'm not 100% sure though and could use some suggestions.

Also I'm looking to buy an amp and 5.1 surround sound system to run off my computer. Any ideas on what hardware I should buy to produce good audio, and what surround system would go well to compliment that?

The power draw, heat generation and noise at load between a Full HD capable media rig and a Gaming rig is pretty massive: reconsider your options/decisions

Okay thx, obviously im rather new to this. Two Things:
1st, Where can I find the stickies?
2nd, The Computer will mainly be for gaming but I will want it to have a few things such as HDMI output so that I may use it as a media computer also.
