This mobo says it will take DDR 1600mhz but on the spec lists 1600hz as *OC. What does this mean exactly? I would have to overclock the mobo to make the RAM work?? :s

Reason I'm asking is because it's cheaper than the others that take 1600 and I see no other reason to spend more on a mobo

Looking to go with i5 760 and a GTX 560 ti 1gb card for gaming

If the motherboard supports 1600 overclocked then I suggest you get that if you are going to overclock your CPU which you will do by increasing the fsb that will bring the ram speed up as well. That is what they mean by OC. If you do not overclock the CPU your ram will run at 1333mhz.

I think I will just stick (pun hehe) with the 1333 then as i have never oc before plus the 1333 ram I was looking at is a little cheaper with a lower CL8 rather than CL9 so it seems the best bet.
