Hi all experts,

I want to use sata 6.0Gbps HDD "Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD Internal Hard Drive (ST31000524AS)" with my old motherboard "Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2 ".

The HDD which i want to use is SATA 6.0Gbps and my motherboard is having only SATA 3.0Gbps ports, will 6.0Gbps hdd work with my mobo having 3.0Gbps port or not?
Is SATA 6.0Gbps back compatible with SATA 3.0Gbps?

Thanks,
Dhaval :)
