Hello,
I have two asus EAH3870 Company of Heroes with both crossfire and have recently bought the Asus EAH5750 Formula. Can i CF the new one with the old one? I thought of taking one of the 3870 and replace with a new one and CF it with new one. Could it be done? My system info are: i7 920 2.67Ghz, 8Ghz DDR3 RAM,intel DX58SO motherboard,Enermax Galaxy 1000watt power supply, Creative X-fi Soundblaster sound card, 2.5TB WD,2x ASUS EAH 3870 CF.

You cannot crossfire 2 (or more) cards from different series. They have to be in the same series, for example you can crossfire a 5770 with a 5750.

However you cannot crossfire a 5850 with a 5770, and you cannot crossfire a 3870 with a 5750

No problem, Yes you need to buy another 57xx series card if you want to crossfire.

I would recommend you buy another 5750 and not a 5770 because the 5770 will be down clocked to the 5750's clocks, so you'd just end up spending more money for the same result.

3870 CF 5750..
i try it.. it works but the 3870 overburn (fan became crazy) to equal the 5750
system said 5750 activated and 3870 off
but resolution screen is base on 3870 properties
its looks a little faster than 5750 only but i dont test anymore
