Pen Drive Malfunctioning

My pen drive has malfunctioned. Pl. help me as I am getting Below mentioned message:
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

You need to buy a new pen drive. That's why you should never save important files on them unless you have those file backed up somewhere else. Pen drives are fit only for short-term storage, such as transferring data between two computers.
