Processor Upgrade

Hello I have an Abit IS7 MoBo and im thinking about upgrading to a dual core or better processor. I was wondering if the IS7 supports multiple core processors, what issues I will run into and if anyone has any advice.

Im running:

Abit IS7 w/ Pentium single core
500w Cooler Master PSU
Nvidia Geforce 5700LE
2G PC 3200


I'm still pretty new to posting if you need more info let me know

Short answer, nope. There are no Socket 478 CPUs in production; 100% EOL.

Thank you, and I appreciate how quick the reply was. I suppose I will have to build a new PC. Oh well it will give me a chance to build a little bit better gaming rig I guess. Thanks again.
