USB 3.0 external harddisk enclosure with SATA III SSD

Hello,

Is it possible for me to put a SATA III SSD into a USB 3.0 external harddisk Enclosure?

Does the USB able to power the SATA III SSD harddisk?

I don’t like those dockings as they need additional power plug. I would like to get the power directly from the USB so that I can easily plug into different computers for speed as well as the portability and stability.

lol ssd drives use massively lower power than a traditional spindle mechanical hard drive, you may need mounting adapters to fit the 2.5inch ssd into the external enclosure but that's about all you would need. You shouldn't have any problems
