myself pankaj from delhi india.
2 days ago i have purchased 2tb seagate green drive model no. st2000dl003 from smc international nehru place. i m using intel g35 motherboard. when i m trying to installs windows xp sp3 in this (first 50gb ntfs partion of this hdd) drive. first step of xp intallation is ok.
but when system restarded for the next step the bios giving the error " disk read error".
and some square boxes on the screen.
but when i m installing windows 7 no problem is there.
please solve the issue with this drive.
windows xp installation is very important for me

i dont belive windows xp supports 2 tb boot drives, the max is lke 137 gb.

i have a second hard drive wd green 1tb. three partition is there 50gb, 50gb, and 831 gb. i have istalled windows xp in first patition, windows 7 in second patition. and all the thing are working fine.

there is a 4k sector technology in the 2tb seagate green hdd which is creating problems with winxp
