Cheap Silent Server

Hi there,

I'm planning on building home game/server.
Its for simple game i've created.

I would like to have 2 GB RAM, a multi-threaded processor(more than 3Ghz total) and better NIC able to handle fast transfers.

My priority is that it should be as cheep as possible.

I'm not an expert, but I believe any computer can be made into a server. You just need the software to do it.

you could browse newegg for some good deals on low end cpu's / mobos. or you could go on craigslist and find yourself a nice used computer for fairly cheap. You might even consider getting 2 computers, 1 to be the server and 1 to play your game.
