Hey guys,

I've been referred to you by a friend and would like some advice on a newegg combo pack:

* Intel Core i5-661 (Clarkdale) 3.33GHz Socket LGA 1156 87W Quad-Core Integrated Graphics Desktop Processor (Model: BX80616I5661)
* ASUS Socket 1156 Intel H57 Express Chipset SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX Motherboard (Model: P7H57D-V EVO)
* G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Model: F3-1280CL9D-4GBRL)
* Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive (Model: WD1002FAEX) - OEM
* OCZ StealthXStream Series 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI & CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply (Model: OCZ700SXS)
* Thermaltake V9 Black Edition ATX Gaming Chassis (Mid-Tower) with Dual Supersized 230mm Ultra-Silent Cooling Fans (Model: VJ400G1N2Z)

I'm not much into gaming, but would still like a solid system. (And if anyone knows about compatibility issues and the quality of the case, I'd greatly appreciate it.) Thanks!

Uh whats it going to be used for?

I'm going to be honest right now it seems kinda... meh?

A few of the components are just questionable. The WD 1TB HDD, performs worse than the 1 TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB and generally costs about 30 dollars more.

OCZ isn't known for their PSUs(but I got one for my HTPC because it was modular and cheap)

Your RAM, although it is 1600 MHz in speed, it's CAS Latency is 9, meaning its not as fast as it could be.

Also it simply doesn't have a discrete Graphics card, so if this is for gaming it will need one.

^+1 i agree with everything cmcghee358 says about your build.
You're buying a $200 mobo seems a bit too much for what you've listed.
Why not get a quad core i5 750 it's $10 cheaper.
You can get nice fast G.skills 1600MHz CL7 ram for a good price.
At least buy a ModXtreme psu.
Not a big fan of Thermaltake cases.
I would buy a CM,Antec,or Lian-li.
But cases are a personal choice.
