APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Whenever this gets figured out.

BUDGET RANGE: 1600ish. I could throw like two or three hundred more on there if needed.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, especially FPS.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: I need everything. I'm coming back into the world of building after an extended hiatus and I want to start with completely new stuff. I need a mouse, keyboard, monitor, and tower.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: Full aluminum mid-tower case with no openings on the top, 24" screen.

OVERCLOCKING: Yes

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: If needed.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: The bigger the better.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I don't like bright lights. I don't need any extra keys for macros or anything on the keyboard...same goes for the mouse. Generally, the simpler it is and the better built it is, the more I like it.

I appreciate y'alls help.

Sorry for the cut and paste, photobucket is freezing my IE and a web filter stops me from going to other photo sites. :(

I prefer a case with no openings on top because I'm going to be living in the fraternity house next year and openings on the top of the monitor just invite beer to spill into them.

With that Budget you could go for Intel, maybe a I7-750 if you prefer intel. But, there's nothing wrong with an AMD build.

Read a few reviews, make your own decision though. It's your computer, get what you want :)
