Still got my existing screen a 19" 1280x1024

Budget is around £500 for a DX11 Gaming rig

Because for gaming, AMD is king for price/performance. Yes the Intel ones are better due to hyperthreading but gaming can't utilize hyperthreading making the excess cost of i7s totally wasted. Not including the higher cost of the required items just to utilize the socket.
