P8p67 deluxe stops at IDE detect when boting

i got my asus p8p67 deluxea couple of days ago and i have now put together a brand new pc but when i boot it it won't detect any bootable devices (led light flash)any ideas to why it won't recognize nay of my hdd os my ssd disc ?
