Buying a Athlon II X3 435, do i need cooling paste??

well the thread says it self, or is this included. won't be used for overclocking, for a while.

It is included on the heatsink/fan,unless you buy an OEM cpu,but I always clean off the included thermal paste and use something better,like arctic silver or similar paste

Also, there is no need to replace the stock paste/HSF unless you intend to do some heavy overclocking or are working in a hot environment.

Use something newer like MX-2 which can't shorten any circuits unlike the silver product.

If you do decide to get aftermarket cooling, I also second the MX-2. I have 2 containers and use it on everything.
