Hi, I recently bought a crucial ssd

Crucial 128 GB m4 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SATA 6Gb/s CT128M4SSD2

and this is the enclosure

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

BYTECC Aluminum 2.5" Black USB 3.0 External Enclosure, SATA I/II/III , USB 3.0 A to Micro B type Cable

here is a testing

I have
AHCI enabled
Trim enabled
updated my BIOS from the website for my lenovo laptop
Superfetch disabled, Prefetch and Superfetch set to 2 for boot
indexing disabled
defragmentation disabled
chose "better performance" for removal policy
etc etc

The speeds seem extremely slowly, I am trying to figure out if maybe the combination of the drive and enclosure may not be that good. I'm using it through a USB 3.0 port. I'm wondering if I should've maybe gotten an enclosure that can connect to an eSata port because I do have one on my laptop.

i am more than welcome to try other configurations if there are.

USB (even 3.0) isn't that fast, that might be the bottleneck.
Those speeds seem normal for USB.

esata should be faster than usb 3.0.
