I have a brand new computer w/ twin ATI 8650's running crossfire, & Windows 7 and was playing a FPS game, when suddenly all of my monitors just went black and lost their signal. I ended up having to hard reboot the computer more than once to get anything to come back up on the monitor. When it finally rebooted I got this message:
YOUR SYSTEMS MEMORY CONFIGURATION HAS CHANGED SINCE IT ENTERED HIBERNATION. IF YOU PROCEED THE DATA NEEDED TO RESUME FROM HIBERNATION WILL BE LOST. TO PRESERVE THIS DATA TURN OFF THE SYSTEM POWER, RESTORE THE ORGINAL MEMORY CONFIGURATION, AND THEN REBOOT THE SYSTEM. OTHERWISE PRESS ENTER TO DELETE RESTORATION DATA AND PROCEED TO SYSTEM BOOT MENU.
I just hit enter ‘cause I wasn’t sure what to do. I had 12 GB of memory, and it says I still have 12 GB, but loading times, etc are definately longer now. I did not do anything with my memory at all. Do you know why I would have gotten this message and how I might diagnose any problems?? Thanks
