I have convinced management at my organization to change out our old monitors. However, should we go with dual screens or a larger widescreen. Basically we need at least 2-19" monitors or a single 28" widescreen to provide the same viewable area. Personally, I'm thinking of a 30" display. These displays will be used primarly for CADD workstations and engineering applications.

IMHO, you can never go wrong with dual monitors. I would go with at least 2 Widescreen Monitors. Given the right dual monitor stand, you can always rotate one screen so it sits vertically, for more challenging CADD projects, maybe?

I would even go with monitors up to 22".
