G.SKILL ECO 8GB was compatible with the i7-2600k?

Hello, i was wondering if the G.SKILL ECO 8GB was compatible with the i7-2600k with the ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME MotherBord (best for gaming)and any comments if you have used this ram and any suggestions on whats the best ram for this pair and i have the Silver arrow as a cpu heatsink

I would buy Gskill Ripjaws X which is enhanced for Sandy Bridge. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231445 8GB would be plenty for gaming.
