Need ram for computer

Ok im building a new computer and my specs are

Intel core i7 950

Acer G245Hbmid Olympic Edition 24" Widescreen LCD Display

XFX 1gb DDR5 5870



ASUS P6X58D-E LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Xtreme Design w/ SLI, TurboV, SATA 6Gb/s +USB 3.0

Now I need ram.. I want 8gb ddr3 ram what kind of ram would be good for my motherboard Budget is 150 dollars for ram Thanks

LGA 1366 supports triple channel memory so you would want 6GB or 12 GB or any combination of matched 3 sticks. 8GB would be for dual channel memory or 2 matched sticks. 8GB will work but not give you the benefit of triple channel support. I like Corsair and GSkill myself and DDR3 1600 should do well with that MB/CPU.

Either of those kits is a great choice. Both are DDR3 1600 cas 8.
