Can my psu handle hd5850

i had a 430 watt psu on my system, my psu brand is ecs ..
it can handle hd 4850 very well even i oc this gpu to 750/2000 mhz clock, so can my psu handle hd 5850 ?

intel e2200 oc 2.6
mb 945 gcms
hd4850
2 hdd 160 gb and 500 gb
2 gb ram

If i handles a 4850 fine, it can handle a 5850 fine as they have pretty close power draws.

I think it would. The HD5xxx series are very power efficient cards!

the 5850 takes about 10 less watts at idle, and 40 more at load. You can put your info into this:

When i put in your basic info, i got about 400-430, so it might be close.

Yeah, id guess 500 watts to run it with a degree of safety. Although it wouldnt surprise me if some sub 500 watt corsairs could run it. It has a lot to do with the amps.
