Good sound card for under $100

I'm looking for a sound card for my PC and need some suggestions. I'd like to spend less than $100 if possible. I also need it to be PCI Express x1 since I'm using my only PCI slot for my wireless adapter. I do gaming with headphones, but I use digital optical output for my 5.1 system.
Any recommendations would be great.
Thanks!

Question: Do you have any preference for Dolby/DTS?

I ask, because the ASUS Xonar DX sounds perfect, but does not have realtime encoding for DTS (only Dolby). The ASUS Xonar D2X has support for both, but costs a bit more...You can also make a case for the Auzentech Forte as well, but that costs about as much as the D2X, and a bit more expensive then you want to spend...

I don't think I even use Dolby/DTS from my computer, so I'm pretty sure it's a non-issue. I was looking at the Creative Fatal1ty but some people said that the optical output was only 2 channel, which doesn't help me at all.

Here's a couple of suggestions.
