Hi All

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 2 weeks from now.

BUDGET RANGE: $1100 - $1400

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: playing the latest and greatest games flawlessly,converting/burning/watching movies, surfing the internet

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

PARTS PREFERENCES: All branded parts , no generic parts. I have already bought a 24' Acer H234H separately with 1920x1080 being its native resolution.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe (but probably not)
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I would prefer a quiet PC but am not willing to spend to much extra to achieve this.

This is what I've put together, I'm just about to press the order button but would like some criticisms first. After find a case I liked, playing around with the idea of g-skill ram on a few sites , finding the mobo and graphics card I want etc. these are my components...

yes it was formed from taking suggestion through various members of this board(mostly you Mark), checking prices and going with the cheapest prices while avoiding to many sources. I'd prefer to keep it together and buy everything from one shop.

I couldnt find the g-skill c 8 ripjaws ram but I went with Corsair 1600 ram anyway so it should fare well. The only problem is, I've never built a system before so I don't know if everything I have will fit in the case.

Any idea if it will?

Other then that are there any other components needed (beside monitor, keyboard, mouse) to build and use a complete pc for my needs (playing games, surfing the net,converting/burning/watching movies)?

Anyone see any components that are not compatible with each other?

thanks guys
