Realtek driver error

Hi all,
I recently purchased an MSI H61MU-E35 motherboard, and after installing it I preceded to install the drivers. When I installed the network driver it gave me the following error: "The RealTek Network Adapter/Controller was not found.
If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable."
I have searched all over the internet for an answer, but I still can't figure it out. I would prefer not to have to send it back because that would take another two weeks without having my desktop. Any ideas? I have windows 7 home premium x32 if anyone is wondering.

  1. Unfortunately the network adapter doesn't even show up under the device manager, and Ubuntu doesn't recognize it either. So I am guessing that I just ended up with a lemon...So sad.
