More about first build 1000 1200
  1. please help
  2. You should probably get a Midtower Antec 300 or 300 Illusion, not the mini tower.
You should also get a gigabyte USb 3/SATA 6 MOBO.

Newgg.ca links don't link properly so just copy paste.

    no xfire
    $95
    newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128431&cm_re=gigabyte_usb_3-_-13-128-431-_-Product

    xfire
    newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128427&cm_re=gigabyte_usb_3-_-13-128-427-_-Product

    Now to cut cost's.

You can drop to a 500 gb Spinpoint F3.
If you don't plan on xfire, you can use a OCZ 500W 80+ $70 $20 US MIR.
    newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016&cm_re=ocz_500w-_-17-341-016-_-Product

    Monitor
    1920x1080 one $160 w/ $10 MIR

  3. I don't know, if you are truly interested in CAD and gaming, a highly overclockable Intel Quad core and at least 8GB or RAM and probably more would be at the top of my list. Just saying.
  4. He means canadian, not the CAD software.

This mistake appears to occur quite often >.<
  5. banthracis

    isn't the antec 300 the same thing ncix:18" x 18.3" x 8.1 newegg:18.30" x 8.10" x 18.00"

and on the specs it says "atx mid tower"

yea looks like they just mislabeled the title.
  7. is the gigabyte 790x worth the extra 50$ than the msi 790x
  8. well the GA board is better, and has USB 3 and SATA 6, but I don't think it's worth the $45 difference. Still feels weird recommending a board w/o those features though.
  9. Well with the rebate it's not that bad.
I would also consider this mobo

Whatever you decide i would do it before July 1st especially if i lived in B.C.
i live in Ontario so i'm getting it too!
    Happy Canada Day!
