No sound from Gigabyte HD 4670 card through HDMI to television

I have a Dell Optiplex 960 with onboard sound. I purchased a Gigabyte HD 4670 video card with HDMI output. I cannot get sound to go to my Samsung 7000 series TV. My computer is running XP Pro SP3. I have tried everything I could find on the internet with no success, including your site to date. Any help would be appreciated.

No adapters. Straight hdmi connection from card to TV.
