Can you run the 1100t on nf980-g65 motherboard

I have an amd 1100t black ed and have put it on the msi nf980-g65 motherboard. How do I keep from bricking my MB?

I'm not sure I understand your question, but theres no way that putting that cpu on that motherboard would brick it if thats what you mean

It is not on the CPU support list but most likely will work since the 1090T does http://www.msi.com/product/mb/NF980-G65.html#/?div=CPUSupport
They probably have not updated the list for awhile!

Well I know I'm going to have to flash the MB with their 1.4 BIOS. My problem is I keep seeing 2 different ways of doing it. M-Flash and the conventional way. On both ways I see where ppls have bricked their MB's and some have not plus like you mentioned I saw no support for the 1100 CPU on their website. Guess I'll just hope for the best.
