Driver problem with new build

My DVD drive won't recognize the driver and utilities dvd that came with my motherboard; I don't have a floppy drive. Here are the new components:

Can you download and install from the Internet or install onto a flash drive than install them??

i've looked; but everything I see is a file that I need a floppy for. I do have the capability for that though if i can find it.

I checked MSI's website and you can download the drivers without issues. They download as zip files and the "floppy disk" image is just to call out to save the file, not that you need a floppy drive.

you should be using windows 7 with a good computer like that. you are wasting it by running xp. also, the drivers for that system are meant for win7, so it would be easier if you were running it (win7 i mean).

Yeah. I plan on getting 7 soon. I'm inexperienced in pc's at this point, I just read the "building your own" faq thing here and went with it, for budgetary reasons. Tecmo, thanks, you were right I was able to use a removable after extracting the files and have my system up an running, thanks.
