Upgrade graphics card

I currently Have an HPE-110f with a HP 2159m monitor, I want to be able to run my games on 1900x1080. My CPU is AMD PhenomIIx4 925 w/ 8gb DDR3, windows 7 64 bit. I want to upgrade my PSU and graphics card. I have been bouncing back and forth between the xfx 4890, xfx 5770 and xfx 5830. My budget for the upgrades is 350.00

  1. $350 USD? In that case, an HD5850 is the way to go. Grab the ASUS DirectCu edition if you know about overclocking, or the Sapphire Vapor-X edition if not. Either card will outperform the HD5770 or HD5830 by a very good amount.
  2. And make sure you choose a trusted brand like Corsair, OCZ, Antec, Seasonic, SilverStone for your new PSU... :)
  3. Forget the 5830, it is not a good enough performance increase over the 5770 and is not cheap enough to justify buying instead of the 5850 (which is a very good card for your resolution)
  4. Is the 359 USD for both the PSU and GFX card? What's your current PSU?

That PSU should work. Each PCI-E connector should be on one rail each (though two can be on one), the CPU being the third, and the last one being for something .
  6. get the 5850.
