Deleted volume on external hard drive
Hello,
Im have a problem with my WD 3TB hard drive. I tried to put it in my docking station and it read it just fine (as in Disk Management detected it) I tried to reformat my drive to clear it all. It looked like i had three partitions on there some how so I went ahead and deleted all the partitions. The line then turned black to let me know that its unallocated. I then right clicked on the black line changed the drive to GPT because its over 2TB's and then I went ahead and made it something saying (simple thread). Now my hard drive isn't detected at all by windows or disk management. The drive spins up and it sounds like its working but nothing happens then it spools down again after it spins up twice looking to be connected. Whats going on?
