Hello I'm going to buy one of the two graphics cards

Sapphire 5850 2GB - RAM/GPU: 4500Mhz/675Mhz
Sapphire 5870 1GB - RAM/GPU: 4800Mhz/850Mhz

Both cards have the same price.

Which one should I get? How important is that extra 1GB of memory? Thx =)

Are you planning on running eyefinity or 2560x1600? If so, then grab the 2GB HD5850, and overclock the core and memory to 850 and 1150 respectively. Otherwise, the HD5870 would offer better performance.

As shadow said, with Eyefinity or higher resolutions go with the HD 5850 2GB version. Otherwise the HD 5870 would offer better performance, and you could overclock it too if you want.

Just start your own thread with that one question then, think of the points you'll get (and can give).
