Looks pretty nice. What is the final cost and what operating system do you plan on using on it?Also what hard drive (or SSD or both) are you going to use.

Looks quite good to me.If its a gaming machine, then you can play all games fine on resolutions up to 1920x1200.

Yeah 1680x1050 res should be excellent for the 5770. Anything above that and you won't be able to set very high settings in-game. Nice CPU and overall the build is good balanced.

No Offence To ATI, Its Obvious I Like AMD, But Id Reccomend Dropping The 5770 In Favor Of The GTX460 768 (Or 1GB) And Dropping The CPU Down To The Fastest Of The Athlon II X4 Series In Order To Go To The 460, It Would Overall Be A Faster, Smoother, And Better Gaming Machine.

Also Id Like To Point Out That CUDA Is Usefull And Judging By The Fact That You Chose A Quad-core Your Planning On Do At-Least Some Encoding (Hint, Hint, CUDA, Hint, Hint) Thus The Reason Im Sticking With Nvidia For The Forseeable Future

Otherwise, Love The System Component Choices In General.... GO AMD!!

Pretty similar to my rig, expect i have a 955, same mobo, 8 gigs of ram, and a 4890. However in gaming, it should be pretty close. But very nice rig, like said above, great for lower level games at HD, and all games at 1680x1050. I have and LOVE that mobo, i love MSI in general, but that is a great mobo, can easily take the 945 to 3.8-4 GHz. Obviously the RAM would get oc'ed too. And while i do agree a 460 would be better, if you already bought it, nothing you can do. If you got the 5770 for about $150, the 460 loses all its hype, as that makes it a good deal, and spending an extra $50 might make the 460 not worth it. $90 for the 1 gig version, which is much more worth it than the 768 MB version.
