Not sure how to troubleshoot this one...

My hard drive, as reported by windows as an "ATA ST1000DM003-9YN1 SCSI Device" is churning and churning - once in a while it comes up for air - but it's getting annoying - when trying to watch a video in a browser, the video is choking/pausing until the drive stops spinning....I have a good machine (specs below) and it wasn't always like this - so I'm looking for a way to figure out what's making it spin so much....(I also have an SSD drive in the mix, but that only has games installed - the OS is not on the SSD).

Any advice appreciated!
