External hard drive noise

Ok, so today I accidentally dropped my external hard drive. T_T It's a western Digital 2.0. With 2 terabytes of storage. It's making this weird noise, that I have not seen anywhere.

Here is a video of the noise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCmRnOs587Y&feature=plcp

I'd really appreciate anything to help.

I've tried unplugging, ect.

Also it shows up in devices and printers. Here is a picture. http://www.flickr.com/photos/84268235@N04/7804828784/in/photostream

I have no idea what is wrong I tried what other places have said but they don't work T_T If I have to buy a new one.. then I will, but anything would be great. Thank you.

  1. Any clicking is generally a bad sign. Can you access any files on it? Is it still functional? If it is, you might want to back up all the data on it just in case, but I think that's probably verging on dying.
