Cpu Cache difference

Hi,
I'm an architect and I'm getting a laptop for my work and I'm stuck between 2 choices, One of them has an i-7 740 cpu with 6mb L3 cache but a good Vga (GeForce GT 330 M) and the other has an i-7 820 cpu which has 8mb L3 cache but a weaker vga (GeForce 310 M). I'll be mainly using 3ds max and Revit and maybe some occasional gaming. What I'm asking here is, would how much difference does 2mb cache mean in performance?
