Hello I am planning on purchasing a Asus Maximus IV Extreme. Which accepts (4 x DIMM, Max. 32 GB, DDR 1866(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2200(O.C.)/1600/1333 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory Dual Channel memory architecture). I have chosen (4GB = 2x2GB - 2133MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM XMP X2 Grey Series). This seams good to me but I am wondering if I can also add an identical set to the two remaining DIMM slots? I want the most memory I can put in the board at the fastest speed in which it will take. I have never really understood memory configs because there are so many variables. If someone could explain or even if you have what you think is a better choice for memory modules, I would greatly appreciate the help. I chose these modules for the 2133Mhz speed, if you could direct me to another set at say 2x4GB modules at the same speed, I would tak them into consideration. Basically I am a noob when it comes to RAM and any direction on choosing the best set for my rig is welcome lol. Thanks : )
