Building rig, could use advice.

Hi i am building my own computer geared towards gaming with a decent budget. I was just wondering what games this would run and if people could give me advice on improving my specs that would be great

CPU: AMD phenom x3 8650-2.3 GHZ

Memory: 4 gigs DDR2

450 watt power supply

Gigabyte GA m68m s2p mobo

working on a hard drive and probably getting windows 7 as an operating system

I might overclock, and could anyone offer any advice on a program to do so? I saw one where you could change speed, voltage, and see temperatures from the desktop.

What do you think? How well could this run Crysis, Bioshock, ect?

No, just no.

First of all the AMD phenom x3 8650. For a low budget tri-core CPU the AMD Athlon II X3 CPUs are the way to go. Of course, that also calls for a better motherboard. You also may as well build a new system with DDR3 memory.

We will need to know what you mean by "decent budget" actual dollar amount, and I agree on the ddr3 memory, best of luck!

Thanks for the advice! I'll take it into account, adn jijoslin, i have everything i need except an OS and maybe a newer, bigger hard drive and have spent 440 so far (canadian)
