Depending on your monitor, I don't think this card was meant for gaming since it runs games extremely slow. I recommend saving up for a 5570 if you can't put out so much cash, otherwise get the 9800gt or 5670 since if u plan on gaming this card will not impress you.

It will play source games just fine, or 1024x768/1280x1024. Anything above that, you'll want an HD5670/HD5750.

Instead of getting a 5450, you could easily get a 5570 that runs so much better for a very similiar price

I would agree for 10 20 dollars more you can have 5 times the stream cores which will translate into roughtly 500% more performance for 20-40% more money

The HD 5450 is not much of a gaming card, I would say it's performance is about 85% of a HD 4650. I believe the HD 5570 is roughly the same as the HD 4670 and the HD 5670 is around 30% faster on average than the HD 4670.

the 5450 would be alot less then 85% of a 4650 it only had 80 stream core, it the 4xxx series usually have better performance per clock anyways, so it's 320 cores should be alot more powerful then the 5450's
