Dlink status connected not working

Hello,I have a server, a client and a modem connected to the switch. The server n modem work well. But am unable to connect to the internet nor the server from the client system. But the status shows connected.

Which device is configured to give out DHCP information - the server or the router?

Is the client configured to USE DHCP? Connected just means that there is a physical connection to a wireless network.
