Hello all,

I recently purchased a new 3TB hard drive but after installing windows Computer Management is only showing the disk as a maximum of 765MB. I can format and use the disk like this but of course have lost majority of the platters.

Motherboard: Acer h57m01

Is there anything I can do or is my older motherboard just not compatible?

Note: hard drive tried on other computer and works fine.

Thanks.

Sounds like the BIOS doesn't support 3TB drives; check if there's an update available, if not you'll have to wait and hope...
