I recently bought the dragonlord case. I was wondering if you guys knew of any good 140mm fans that have red leds? I can't seem to find anything. Also I bought the Hec Cougar 700w. Any comment on the psu? Thanks.

XIGMATEK Crystal Series CLF-F1452 140mm Red LED Case Fan

I couldn't find any reviews on that hec Cougar Series Zephyr 700 CM 700W PSU. The data label specs are OK but when you spend that much on a PSU you kinda want an independent review or two to back up the choice. No reviews doesn't mean it's bad. It just means you don't know if its a good PSU or not.

For comparsion - you could have gone with the XFX P1-650X-CAH9 650W for about $20 less (with free shipping) and a $20 rebate on top of that. $40 savings with only a 2Amps of +12V power difference.

Thanks for the answers. I knew I should have gone and read reviews. Hopefully this one doesn't bite me in the a**. That's the only fan available right? Do you think it would work if i added led's to clear, higher rpm fans as that is only rated at 1000rpms. Was actually hoping for 1500. Not really looking for a quiet pc. Thanks again WR2.

Airflow is more important than fan speed.
Xigmatek: 1000 rpm and 60CFM <16 dBA
Masscool FDC14025S1L: 1500 rpm and 57CFM ~24.7 dBA

I like to see more than a 1 year warranty on any PSU in that price range (XFX's was 5yrs).
Hopefully, the price is an indication of it's relative quality.

Your idea of adding your own LED lights is certainly an option. http://www.xoxide.com/leds.html
And I would guess you also have the option of using 120mm fans in the 140mm positions.

Oh, so i guess it wasn't dependent on the rpm then. Thanks for clearing that up. Hmm, kinda liking the led strips there. One final question, would it be better to use 120mm fans rather than 140mm? Or would they all be the same regardless. I have to change the built in fans due to the fact that the fans on the thermaltake frio is overwhelming my exhaust fan. So kinda looking for a strong exhaust fan that hopefully has leds or the ability to "led-ify" said fan. Thanks so much for all the trouble.

Edit: Plus I was also planning to get a fan controller just for the heck of it.

There are just more 120mm fan options out there.
If you need more of a high performance fan you can get something like COOLER MASTER R4-L2R-20CR-GP 120mm Red LED Case Fan 2000 RPM 90CFM and 19 dBA.
NewEgg customer comments look pretty good.

It seems im stuck with the 140mm clear fans w/ red leds as the sockets seem to fit only 140mm in front and the top. So I'll be changing the rear 120mm w/ the cooler master and adding one 120mm in the 5.25 bay drive. Thanks a lot WR2!
