No render/encode/compile: 440 Rana - 955BE Deneb
No crazy CF : Asrock 870 Extreme 3 (8/8) or Gigabyte 890FXA-UD5 (16/16)
Corsair 750TX for PSU is good to go : point of diminishing returns kick in once CF > 2 GPUs anyways
I would hit a single HD 5870 as well seeing u not tight for $$ hehe (and hit it where it counts if gaming)

I will be doing crossfire about with the 5850. However i dont really see the point in spending the money for the 5870 due to the fact that the transistor amount is the same just the voltage imput and the mhz speed is a little faster from what i have read anyway. But I am not seeing point in spending the 200 hundred for those particular cards? Also i was thinking about upgrading to a 1000 watt psu for upgradeability later on. looking into the 5970 when the price comes down or maybe the 480s.

Look at how big that cpu cooler is. If you have both fans installed, it will overlap your first two slots of ram. Im looking at getting this mother board also, but im not sure witch cpu cooler to get with it.
