Biostar n68s motherboard problems

Hello,
I just installed a biostar n68s motherboard in a new system and it wont power up. When I push the button the fans start and then stop after about 1 second. All parts are brand new and I have disconnected every thing except the motherboard.
What can I check or test for?

Just a idea as i have done this my self,have you connected the 12v rail to the motherboard.

Yes I did. I am thinking it is the power supply or the motherboard. I am in Florida right now and will try a new power supply when I get home.

Your power supply probably isn't powerful enough try unhooking your cd drives, hard drives or PCIe graphics card.

The power supply was the problem. I called Tiger Direct and they sent me a new power supply and it did the same thing. I finally bought a new one locally and everything is working fine.
