i5 760

GA-P55A-UD3

CM 690 ii

case fans running 1200rpm

Heatsink fan running 2400rpm

CPU usage 1-3%, Core Temps 58-64C, (64,63,63,62) according to Core Temp & BIOS

I've re-seated the heat sink 3 times(stock) checked the pushpins, applied pressure for 30 seconds, no change.

Sits under glass deck top. Nothing restricting airflow. I have a central air as well as a window unit so I keep it 73-75 F.

Read many forums, only other conclusion from Intel would be to upgrade BIOS.

Appreciate any insight....

Shutdown overnight. Load Temp was 55 then moves to 61 and hangs there.

Went to BIOS. CPU Temp was 62, System Temp was 36.

Vcore1.264
CPU Vcore 1.0062

Everything is set on auto.

Went to Windows load went to 70, then went down and idle at 61.

I haven't attempted to stress yet. Built for playing poker, need to run program called Hold'em Manager which uses PosgresSQL which will burn it up.

Getting frustrated. About ready to send Intel a nasty...grrrrrrrrrr

Just got off the phone with Intel support. According to them I have no issue until it shuts down. He stated CPU shut down occurs @72C(Tcase).

So I guess I'll load it up see what happens, maybe I'm premature????
