I recently installed a Netgear MR814 router and have it all set up and working but for some reason it is not letting me into a few pages. For example I can go to the ebay site and look at auctions but I cannot log into my account. Same thing with my operamail account. The browser just times out after "loading" the page for minutes at a time. I can log right in if I bypass my router again. I'm accessing a DSL connection running XP Pro with SP2 installed. I pretty much am running with all the defaults on the router.
Any thoughts on what might be the problem with the router would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

my initial thought is that it's somehow blocking port 443, which is the https (SSL) port, which ebay uses to log in. Can you check that?

Thanks for your response, but that was not the problem. Decreasing the MTU setting on the router seems to have solved my problems. Thanks anyway.
