So, I need a portable hard drive to store some of the shite from my laptop on, but I also want to put it into my PC whenever I get around to building it. At work one day, I saw someone with an internal hard drive that he connected using only a usb cable. So far all of the e-sata to usb adapters I've seen also need a power adapter. Any thoughts on this??
Thanks a lot,

Miniature externals or pocket externals use 2.5 inch drives and require less power, these generally only need usb power.
