HI,

Could you please help me because I am a little bit confused!

I just bought the new version B3 of an ASUS P8P67 Deluxe and I want to make certain before I build my new system that this board is the good one with no bugs ?

The new version of the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe B3 is called REV 3.0 but when I look on my PCP it is written REV 1.03 and not REV 3.0?

Is it ok?

Thank you for your help,

JF

HI,

My problem is the following: I have to put in pieces my working pc to build the new one with this new ASUS motherboard... and it is why I want to be certain at 100% that I have a REV 3.0 PCB before I start my job.

Thank you for your help,

JF

I've see this exact question and concern. Your 'Box' should have B3 and I've seen ASUS --- 'oopsy' forget the sticker. The ONLY 100% Guaranteed way is to breadboard a minimal set up: RAM, GPU, CPU & PSU and boot into the BIOS. You don't even need a HDD to do this. WORST CASE you clean-off your CPU/HSF and loose 10~15 minutes plus a dab of thermal paste.

There is NO other way; per link = step 3 which is 100% conclusive.

"IF"your box is B3 then 9.99/10 you're good, and "IF" you purchased after the recall from a reputable company like Newegg w/sticker 9.9999/10 B3.
