Hello,

How come unigine shows GTX series with huge advantage in tessellation yet has less FPS games that use tessellation like alien vs pred , Stalker etc... !?

Because Unigene focused extremely heavily on tessellation. I guess FERMI loses to ATI in raw graphics (see: crysis), but does better with AA/DX11.

The Fermi architecture focuses heavily on Tessellation, as does the Unigene benchmark. So they match up very well.

Ultimately, Fermi/nVidia > ATI with Tessellation with current Flagship lines.

And since DX11 & Tessellation are the new thing, there aren't many games that full invest in either technology yet.

Thats right, the level of tesselation in games is far less than what is in the heaven benchmark. Despite fermi's power in tesselation, it is quite average in other aspects so you get potentially lower FPS in real games.

I wouldn't worry about tesselation yet. Both Nvidia and ATI suck at it, just that Nvidia sucks less. If you want to drop your frame rates really really quickly for little to no gain in visuals, then tesselation is what you want. Same with ambient occlusions. Maybe a few years down the line when the technology matures we can expect good tesselation.
