hello

i have foxconn g31mx series motherboard

when it take power cord out

the clock and date go back to

2007 in the bios

the battery is new

witch flash bios i need use?

thnks in avance

2007 is probably the board's current bios release date. And if the date and time are holding, then I wouldn't flash the bios just for this reason. Flashing is always a little risky; foxconn may not have a decent flash program for windows. Why do you need to take the power cord out? Is this to prevent damage from blown fuses or lightening? I would get a decent surge protector instead.

If you remove the power cord from the system and the Date / Time are lost..... the battery is bad (even thou new) these is with a volt meter......

Or, worst case the CMOS RAM on the motherboard is faulty.......
